Eleni is a native Greek teacher with over 5 years of experience and more than 500 students taught through private lessons, online courses, and specialized programs. She holds a Master’s degree in Linguistics, and her academic background shapes everything we do at Speak Greekly.

After years of teaching Greek one-to-one, Eleni realized something important:
students learn best with a method that is clear, structured, and dynamic, not with long monologues, endless grammar explanations, or the teacher simply talking while writing in a chat box.

That’s why she created Speak Greekly:
to build a modern, interactive, and easy-to-follow system where every lesson is intentional, practical, and designed to help you actually speak Greek from the beginning.

Her focus is simple:
clarity, human interaction, real support, and materials that make Greek feel accessible, not overwhelming.

Elli

Co-Founder & Teacher

Ellie is also a native Greek speaker and co-founder of Speak Greekly. She has a Master’s degree in History and a strong background in education, communication, and student support.

She brings a warm, friendly, and highly organized approach to the school. Ellie works closely with students inside the platform, supporting them step-by-step, answering questions, and helping them stay consistent with their learning.

Her teaching style is patient, encouraging, and highly practical, especially helpful for beginners who need someone to guide them without pressure.

Ellie ensures that every student feels seen, supported, and confident from day one.

Joaquim

Student Experience Manager

Joaquim is the person who makes sure every student at Speak Greekly feels guided, supported, and confident throughout their learning journey. Originally from Brazil, he has spent the last three years living in Greece, fully embracing the language, daily life, and culture. His own experience learning Greek from zero gives him a unique understanding of the challenges students face and how meaningful the right support can be.

Whether you need help navigating the platform, organizing your lessons, understanding your learning plan, or simply staying motivated, Joaquim is here for you outside the classroom. He ensures communication runs smoothly, answers questions quickly, and helps you make the most of everything the course offers.

He loves Greece and wants others to enjoy the language as much as he does, and his goal is simple: to make your learning experience clear, stress-free, and genuinely enjoyable.

Ariadni

Greek Language Teacher

Ariadni is a native Greek teacher at Speak Greekly. She helps learners feel confident and supported throughout their Greek learning journey.

With a background in Greek Philology and an MSc in Developmental Disorders from the University of York, Ariadni combines linguistic expertise with a deep understanding of different learning needs. EUROLTA-certified, she prepares students for Greek exams like Ellinomatheia and GCSE Greek.

Ariadni has taught children, teenagers, and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds, both online and in classrooms across Europe. Her approach is student-centered, adaptive, and encouraging, focusing on clarity, confidence, and practical use of Greek in real life.

At Speak Greekly, she guides students step by step, answers questions, and ensures learning is accessible, human, and empowering.

Rita

Greek Language Teacher

Rita is a certified native Greek teacher with extensive experience teaching students of all ages and proficiency levels. She holds a degree in Greek Philology and a Master’s in Teaching Foreign Languages in Multicultural and Multilingual Environments, combining strong linguistic expertise with modern, student-centered methods.

Rita has taught children, teenagers, and adults from diverse backgrounds, both online and in person, and adapts her teaching style to meet individual learning needs. Her passion for etymology helps her connect Greek with students’ native languages.

She is committed to helping students achieve their goals in an engaging environment where they feel confident speaking from the first lesson. Through interactive activities, authentic materials, and personalized lesson plans, students develop practical language skills and gain insight into Greek culture, history, and daily life.

Her goal is to make sure students never have to say “It’s all Greek to me.

Elli

Greek Language Teacher

Elli is a native Greek certified teacher with over 5 years of experience teaching Greek to foreigners, both online and in person. With a background in Greek History & Archaeology, she holds two Master’s Degrees: one in Modern Greek History and another in Special Education.

Specialized in preparing students for the Ellinomatheia (A1-C2) and Greek Citizenship exams, Elli also offers lessons tailored for travel. Her teaching style is highly individualized, adapting to each student’s pace and needs through various methods and memory techniques. Friendly, patient, and tech-savvy, she provides a supportive and analytical environment for every learner.

Evangelia

Greek Language Teacher

Evangelia is a native Greek teacher with more than 5 years of teaching experience. She has a Master’s degree in Cognitive Science and Language and a strong background in education and student support. She holds a certificate in Intercultural Education and always makes sure every student feels included and welcome in class.

She brings a warm, friendly, and patient approach to the learning progress. She supports the students in every part of their greek-learning journey with additional material.

Her teaching style is structured, encouraging, and organized, using student-centered methods, adjusting the material to each student’s needs and goals.

Evangelia makes sure that every student reaches their personal goals and feels welcome and confident in their greek- speaking abilities.
